Join us at NorthSite Contemporary Arts to celebrate the opening of two new exhibitions, bringing together three artists who explore our relationship with place, culture, community and the changing world around us. The afternoon will feature artist talks by Tia Adoberg, Melissa Waters and Georgina Hutchinson, offering an opportunity to hear directly from the artists about the ideas, experiences and processes behind their work.

Melissa Waters & Georgina Hutchinson | Natures’s Dialogue – Shifting Views | Artist Talks 1:30-2:15

Nature’s Dialogue – Shifting Views explores the Australian landscape as a living archive, where fragments, textures and scars left by fire, flood and natural cycles form an unknown visual language. Through aerial perspectives, the artists invite us to slow down and decipher these traces as records of memory, regeneration and change, while reflecting on our responsibility to care for a rapidly changing environment.

Tia Adoberg | The Slipping World | Artist Talk 2:30pm

The Slipping World explores release, resilience and the ways we navigate an increasingly chaotic world. Inspired by the energy of late nights, music, hospo culture and our social landscapes, this series of oil paintings captures fleeting moments of youth, movement and connection emerging from darkness.
