Where is NorthSite?
NorthSite Contemporary Arts (galleries, office and store) are located within Bulmba-ja Arts Centre at 96 Abbott Street, Cairns City.
NorthSite Art Studios at 55 Greenslopes Street, Edge Hill, Cairns – just a short drive from the Cairns CBD and easily accessible by public transport.
When are we open?
• Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
Accessibility
NorthSite is committed to ensuring an inclusive and welcoming experience for all visitors. Our galleries and store are wheelchair accessible, and there is accessible parking available on-site. We also offer sensory-friendly resources and are happy to accommodate any special needs during your visit. For specific accessibility inquiries, please contact us in advance.
Admission
Entry to the gallery is free, and most events and exhibitions are open to the public. Some workshops or special events may require a ticket or booking in advance, so be sure to check our Events page for the latest updates.
Getting Here
• By Car: Council parking is available in proximity to NorthSite, on Abbott St, Florence St and Esplanade, with centre parks free for 3 hrs.
• Public Transport: We are easily accessible by bus, with regular services stopping near the gallery.
