The Slipping World

The Slipping World explores release, resilience and the ways we navigate an increasingly chaotic world.

In recent years, more than ever, we have had to figure out how to process and discharge uncertainty, grief, joy and the demands of survival.

Inspired by the energy of late nights, music, hospo culture and our social landscapes, this series of oil paintings captures fleeting moments of youth, movement and connection emerging from darkness.

Referencing Shakespeare’s line, “Let the world slip; we shall never be younger”, the works celebrate our instinct to keep dancing, gathering, and finding sound and light through turbulent times.

Let the world slip; we shall never be younger"
Taming of the Shrew - William Shakespeare.
