Tia grew up in Melbourne, crawling, then running through the NGV, Monsalvat, Heide, The Palais, the Arts Centre, through the woods and the sand dunes. She was coddled by European family, refugees from World War II, and her imagination has always trespassed into history and fairytale.

She has lived in Mission Beach, Brisbane, Switzerland and travelled all over the world. She studied theatre at VCA and USQ and has worked with Kick Arts, Grafton Arts, Box Jelly Theatre, The Red Shoes Collective, Upholstery and JUTE.

She has exhibited at NorthSite, Crate59, Kite Gallery, Cell Space, Palooka and The Tanks.
