Intimate Worlds III brings together five NorthSite makers whose practices consider the shifting relationship between material, process and form. Working across the space between art and design, the artists engage in deliberate, tactile and experimental processes that allow materials to direct, resist and transform the work.
Rooted in curiosity, attention and sustained making, these practices reveal the intimate relationship between artist and material. Across the exhibition, traces of process, time and transformation remain visible, offering insight into the considered acts of making that shape each week.
