Join us at 11am on Tuesday 9th August for a morning tea event featuring the artist Julie Poulsen.
JULIE POULSEN is a contemporary visual artist who lives and works in her studio north of Cairns. Julie’s ongoing quest is for new visual narratives. With her touch- elements of the everyday take on a life of their own, testaments to her delightfully unpredictable style.
Julie’s art now includes a series of wearable art – bags that have been designed and built from leftover canvas from previous series of work. Julie is a prolific local artist and an inspiring teacher. This is a unique opportunity to meet Julie, ask questions, get inspired and meet other local artists and art lovers.
This will be a very small group event, bookings are essential.
