About the film:
Geoff Dixon’s wild and colourful paintings and sculptures portray endangered birds and their collision with humans, technology, and the natural world.
His moving story is full of adventure and the exploration of love and friendship. We witness his great friend and fellow artist Euan Macleod, painting him as they talk.
Geoff and his partner, indigenous Australian artist Arone Meeks, worked alongside each other. Through their art, both shine a penetrating searchlight on the serious decline of our environment. Geoff says the paintings are “portraits of us”.
