Through explorations of cultural transmission\, ancestral knowledge and spiritual navigation\, the exhibition honours Meeks’ legacy\, and the continuing resonance of his work. \nThis retrospective has been curated by NorthSite Contemporary Arts in collaboration with Boomalli Aboriginal Artists Co-operative and the Arone Meeks Estate\, with the project partnered with Cairns Indigenous Art Fair and supported by Arts Queensland.
